This insect takes a break after attempting to dive-bomb my head.
Apparently, this is a "leaf-footed bug," possibly of the Acanthocephala genus. Thanks to Josh Hillman for the information. Josh
goes on to say, "Despite the alarming helicopter-like sounds they make when doing a fly-by, leaf-footed bugs are completely harmless (though not to plants), but if mishandled, they do
release a pungent odor to ward off potential predators."
