Point and Shoot
This shot cracks me up a bit. We were out at night searching for frogs and creepy crawlies, none of which were showing themselves. However, we were being swarmed my gnats and mosquitoes as we walked along with our headlamps on. And swarming around them were the bats.

So I was sitting on the beach, watching these shapes flit in and out of the light, and I decided that I'd just point my camera, turn on the flash and fire the next time something flew by. I couldn't believe that I actually captured a bat-like object in the frame.
