The skies cleared on the afternoon of November 29, so my guide and I headed out along the Naranjos Trail. All was quiet until the forest erupted in a cacophony of screeching and screaming in the distance. Monkeys were going nuts, which likely meant that there was a cat in the area.
We rushed down the trail until we reached a relatively open area, at which point my guide decided to stop and have us wait. We were soon rewarded...
