Simpsons was on when we got back. I'm not sure the Brits that were watching were really into it, based on the sullen silence in the room. We may try to see Cirque du Soliel Sunday, since they're in town right now. Heard Spanish in the hallways. Must be Valencia fans here for the big game tomorrow. BTW- our roommate's from Japan and is also planning on attending both games.

Oh, and this hostel room is hot. Reminds me of my first night in Paris. And this is with our window open. It's in the 30's outside.

Did I mention that none of the streets have street signs, especially when you need them? Seems like we wandered forever trying to find our way to Old Trafford yesterday.

Got lots of sleep last night, despite waking up around 4ish and not being able to sleep for an hour. Had a heart attack this morning. At least, that's what I like to call the free English Breakfast. The bacon is evil.

We decided to check out Manchester today. Walked to Piccadilly Station to figure out what we need to do tomorrow for our ride to London. We hit the mall too, since we had time to kill. Seems there was an athletic store (think Foot Locker) every 50 feet. And in every one of those stores, the clothes being sold were only in shades of blue or tan. Dunno if this is a seasonal thing or what. Did find a Dutch home jersey for 20 quid. Too bad I already have one.

Lots of Valencia fans wandering around. Can't wait for tonight. Had lunch in Chinatown. Now we're back at the hostel avoiding our new French roommate, who has chosen to smoke in our room. He's also here for the game. BTW- good thing we made reservations here at the hostel. The place is full tonight.
