The reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone National Park occurred in the mid-90's, and is still seen as a controversial move. Despite the debate, it can't be argued that the wolves in Yellowstone have adapted to their environment successfully. Perhaps in 2006 I will finally luck into some chance close encounters with Yellowstone's wolves.
