Before this trip, I was looking forward to Fiji more than anything else. It was my first opportunity to try more serious underwater photography and was certified for scuba beforehand. Since I wasn't sure how much I wanted to pursue underwater photography, I invested in an advanced point & shoot setup, with a housing and Ikelite strobe to accompany my Canon G10.
Unfortunately, not much came out from the G10 when it came to small critters. The New Zealand dolphin photo results were quite nice at times, but I felt most of the Fiji images were throw-aways. Here are a few of the keepers.
