As 2009 came to a close, my wife and I traveled to Argentina to explore Patagonia for a couple of weeks. Our goal was to view the area's unique wildlife and explore some of the dramatic mountain scenery that makes the area famous.

While not the most successful trip (see the trip summary for more details), we still encountered a fair bit of wildlife and definitely got a taste of the awe-inspiring beauty of places like Mt. Fitz Roy and Torres del Paine.
