November 19: Two young members of the Hadzabe tribe show off their trophy. The Hadzabe have lived near Lake Eyasi in northern Tanzania for over 10,000 years. They are nomadic hunters, purportedly shunning technology and "Western" living. On this day, I accompanied the Hadzabe on their morning hunt. This guinea fowl was all they managed to catch for breakfast. And yes, it tastes like chicken.
