February 22: A small bath house stands against a mystical backdrop in northern Sweden. I spent a couple of frigid nights out on the frozen ice and snowy banks of Lake Tornetrask, waiting for the aurora to appear. During the first night, featuring -20C temps and gusting winds, the aurora never showed. Thankfully the sky lit up on the second night.
