September 24: The morning after the raucous humpback whale breaching show, we were greeted by a foggy sunrise and calm waters. The silence of the inlet was interrupted only by the occasional exhales of whales, perhaps the same couple that had put on the fun show the previous night. As the sun peeked through the mist, a whale surfaced, sparkling just for a moment. The whale fluke-shaped clouds were an added bonus!
