We currently support the Husky Marching Band, Yellowstone National Park (via the Yellowstone Park Foundation) and the James Bicknell Endowed Fund. A minimum of 5% of all sales of Max's prints and gift items will be donated to the HMB and Yellowstone Foundation, while 10% of all sales of Dan Waugh prints will be donated to the Bicknell Fund. In 2006, we actually donated 16% of all store proceeds to these groups.

Husky Marching Band

The University of Washington Husky Marching Band (HMB) is a 240-member year-round ensemble that actively participates in supporting all of the Husky Athletics. All members participate during the fall to help support Husky Football at all home football games and even selected away games. Selected members also have the chance to help support other sports such as Men's and Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, and even some Gymnastics, Swimming and Track events! I was a member of the band's tuba section for five years, and didn't really start taking pictures until I was afforded the opportunity to act as the band's sideline photographer for a number of games after I graduated. A portion of the proceeds from store sales will help fund band scholarships.

Yellowstone Park Foundation

The Yellowstone Park Foundation works in cooperation with the National Park Service to fund projects and programs that protect, preserve, and enhance the natural and cultural resources and the visitor experience of Yellowstone National Park. I've traveled to the park every year since 2000, and it's become a big part of my photography. Print sales from this site will help the Foundation help preserve and maintain a natural treasure.

James Bicknell Endowed Fund
The James Bicknell Endowed Fund, administered by the University of Washington Department of History, supports undergraduate academic travel to Asia, Europe and northern Africa.
