Quick Once-Over
Cheetahs are a rare sight in Ngorongoro Crater, and we were lucky to see this one (our first of the trip) at the very end of the day. It was a brief encounter, as it stood up once to scope its surroundings before settling back down into the grass. Lesser flamingos dot the lake waters in the background.

Look for plenty more cheetah photos in the Serengeti section next week.
