Long-Crested Eagle
Lophaetus occipitalis
It was a nice change of pace when this eagle actually flew toward us rather than away from us. It paused briefly in the tree tops to pose before flying away. Tarangire was a particularly good park for eagles. We saw 7 eagle species in two days.
