Back Yard Photos 2009

Solo
My favorite visitors are the dark-eyed juncos that live nearby. They used to enjoy hopping into the yard late in the afternoon to scour the grass for meals, so I was worried that we might lose their interest once the grass was gone.

However, now they spend even more time with us, munching at the feeder, bathing in the water, and chasing each other through the bushes. Oh, and occasionally they'll hum a tune...
