Yellowstone Pictures & Trip Reports :: Summer 2005 Photos : Pelicans : Bears

Yellowstone Photos
My 2005 Yellowstone trip was brief (four days over the July 4th weekend) but full of plenty of great encounters. The trout were spawning, which led to some wonderful viewing opportunities involving pelicans and otters, and it was black bear mating season, which led to a pretty incredible sight (viewable in the bear section).

Due to the sheer amount of photos, I've divided them up into 3 sections. In this main section, you'll find general landscape and animal shots (elk, otters, birds, other critters). There are also special dedicated sections to the pelicans at Fishing Bridge, and to all of the bears we saw.
