I spotted my first great gray during my May trip. When I returned in September, there was a lot of talk about how the great grays were a common sight south of Canyon. Sure enough, I was able to spend parts of two separate days following one of the owls (it may or may not have been the same one both days) through the woods. Here are some of the photos from those encounters.
