One of the highlights of the May trip was the number of coyotes and active coyote dens to be found. Two dens in particular featured a lot of activity with four and five pups respectively. By the time I left in early June, the adults had already begun to move the pups to new locations, so I felt fortunate to have witnessed the antics of the puppies, even if for only a little while.
