Blue Grouse
Dendragapus obscurus

This bird is the companion of a grouse that attacked me on the Tower Road. After running out in front of my car, the sneaky grouse circled around and waiting until I got out before pecking at my leg. Then if promptly flew off, leaving its friendlier companion, pictured here.
