Encountering the Slough Alpha Male Wolf
Here's the tale of my meeting with a Yellowstone wolf...

It was Day 1 of my week-long trip, and I had arrived in the Lamar Valley at around 7am. The Lamar was packed. I had never seen so many people there, even during the height of summer. Cars were everywhere and mobs were gathered at various turnouts watching a lone black wolf far out in the valley.
