I had a very brief opportunity to shoot this red-winged blackbird performing his morning ritual up at Swan Lake Flats. He called out many times, but he really got into the occasional trill, puffing out his wings and fanning his tail. You can even detect a slight trace of steam from his breath. I hope the ladies were impressed with his efforts. I was.
