First Shot
I'd seen one ermine prior to my December trip, and that was while driving and from quite a distance. This little fellow crossed the road right in front of me, stopping and staring teasingly while I was helpless behind the wheel. When I finally parked and tromped back to where it had been, the ermine was far out in the snow field. So this is my first ermine shot.
