I’m doing my best to get old galleries moved over to the new site. The latest upload is a small collection of images from a short trip to Vancouver Island in the fall of 2011. The primary goal of this trip was to find and photograph coastal gray wolves, which had been seen throughout the summer in the region.
On the very first day I accomplished my mission, albeit in very difficult conditions for photography. The ocean was very choppy, and we were forced to shoot from a Zodiac in the unstable waters, so very few images came out to my liking. Still… coastal wolves!
On the subsequent days we stumbled upon a family of river otters (on the town dock) and saw numerous birds.
