What, you didn’t really think I’d do a cat calendar without creating a dog calendar, did you?
As a complement to the Wild Cats calendar, I wanted to make a Wild Canids calendar as well. My hope was to have a different canid species for each month, but I fell a bit short, so I enlisted the Hyaenids–hyenas–to help out. After all, they look fairly dog-like, so they fit right in.
This calendar features twelve different species: wolves, coyotes, foxes, jackals, hyenas and more. They were all photographed in the wild in North America, Africa and Asia. Here’s a preview:
