Where: Yellowstone National Park
When: June 4 – 10, 2016 and June 12 – 18, 2016

Join me on a one week photo adventure in the world’s first national park. This is a peak wildlife photography period in Yellowstone. Our targets include newborn animals (bison and elk calves, bear cubs), predators seeking out old winter kills and birds that are nesting or migrating through.

Max will serve as your driver, guide and advisor on this adventure. Though this is primarily a tour rather than a hard-core workshop, Max will be on hand to shoot alongside you and advise you as needed as you photograph Yellowstone’s great variety of subject matter.

This is my most popular (and more affordable) tours, and it always delivers great sightings.  Save $250 by booking before the end of the month.

Save $500 on Southern Africa Safari

Where: South Africa and Botswana
When: July 23 – August 3, 2016 (through August 6 w/extension)

Join me on a journey to South Africa, where we’ll visit famed Kruger National Park and MalaMala Game Reserve. MalaMala was recently named the second best park for wildlife in all of Africa, and is arguably the best place for wild leopard photography on the planet.

What really makes ours tours special is the opportunity to visit MalaMala Game Reserve, my favorite photography destination in all of Africa! MalaMala is a luxurious safari experience, and that includes the wildlife sightings. We’ll be allowed close access to the wild animals that wander into MalaMala from neighboring Kruger and other reserves in the famed Sabi Sands Wildtuin. The close-up photography opportunities are unparalleled, especially when it comes to leopards. There’s a reason wildlife film crews, including those from National Geographic, visit MalaMala regularly. Now you can get in on the action.

This tour allows us to spend extended time exploring the southern half (i.e., the best half for wildlife) of Kruger, a park the size of the US state of New Jersey. This serves as a great introduction to a host of African wildlife, including many of the most popular species: lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, various species of antelope and more. We may be fortunate to see the endangered white rhinoceros, cheetah and African wild dog as well. Kruger is also home to bountiful bird life: raptors, kingfishers, and dozens of other fascinating species.

I’m also offering a special extension to Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana, home of the world-famous underground elephant hides.
