Canon 300mm f/2.8 IS vI Lens

This lens has rarely been used over the last 5+ years, maybe once or twice a year. Aside from some minor paint chips here and there, it’s in fine shape. This is considered by many to be Canon’s sharpest big lens in the 1 Series.
The lens come with:

- Lens strap
- Lens hood
- Two bonus LensCoat neoprene lens caps, one that fits over the lens hood, the other that fits over just the lens. These are great for travel when you can’t fit the monster lens hood in your carry-on!
- Bonus rain cover, hand-made by Jenn using waterproof marine-grade fabric (though it is branded “Max Waugh Photography”)

This has been my workhorse lens for the last ten years. It’s my favorite piece of photo gear, but I’ve upgraded to a 600mm, so it’s time to part ways. This lens has served me very well during my adventures around the globe, everywhere from Yellowstone to Costa Rica to South Africa. The exterior definitely shows wear, with paint chips and scratches along the lens and lens hood (which is why I’ve knocked a couple hundred bucks off the price). However, the glass is clean and the lens performs as well as ever. It has just returned from Canon Professional Services with a brand new image stabilizer lens, protection ring and lens mount.
