2016 in Review: New Magazine Recounts My Year in Photography

PHOTO/16 cover

It’s been a wild ride the last twelve months.  I traveled more than ever before, I probably photographed more than ever before, and I definitely had my best year for photos.  Ever.

So I decided to publish a magazine recounting this wonderful year in travel and photographyPHOTO/16 is a yearbook of sorts, featuring 64 pages of images and text discussing my many adventures.  It contains photos from all of the trips I took (even the short ones), some of my favorite articles written this year, images from the Husky Football games I covered in the fall and even a section dedicated to my favorite images of 2016.  That’s right, if you order the magazine now, you’ll get a sneak peek at the photos I deemed the “Best of 2016.”

PHOTO/16 pages

In the coming weeks, I will be publishing a number of posts here in the blog looking back on the year that was, not just my own favorite images, but some of my peers’ favorite photos from their respective adventures.  I’ll also write about my favorite works in literature and film, and post plenty of other image content.  But for now, I encourage you to check out this magazine, which may be ordered in either print or digital editions.  See plenty of big, bold photos and enjoy my choices for the best and favorite moments of 2016.

By Max Waugh in Best Of

64 pages, published 12/9/2016

This magazine recounts Max Waugh’s wild year in travel and photography. While leading tours and exploring on his own, Max photographed wildlife in places such as Yellowstone (during four different trips), Costa Rica, Australia, Patagonia, South Africa and British Columbia. See some of best images from these adventures, including Max’s favorite images of 2016!

Stay tuned for more 2016 in Review content in the coming weeks!  Also, don’t forget that there are a few days left on some of the discounts available as part of my holiday sale.  Savings on prints, photo tours and our Yellowstone cabins are good through the end of this month.
