For the second year in a row, I was honored with some images in the Top 100 of the Yellowstone Forever photo contest. The competition is put on by Nature’s Best Photography Magazine and Yellowstone Forever (formerly the Yellowstone Park Foundation).
After placing seven photos in last year’s top 100, I only entered a few images in this year’s contest, so it was nice to see a couple in the final cut (culled from over 11,000 entries). Check out the full slideshow of honorees:
I also received word that one of my photos (the fox in rocks) will be featured on the cover of the Nature’s Best magazine issue that highlights the competition. Friends and fellow photographers Bill Gussman, Jim Chagares and David Douglas also made the cover.
This issue will go to press in April.
Congratulations to all of the winners and honorees!
