The dark, drizzly conditions made for a different setting than the last time Stanford traveled to Seattle to face the Huskies. Washington was looking to rebound after last week’s upset in the Bay Area and keep their Rose Bowl hopes alive.
It was a great game. After jumping out to a big lead in the first half, the Huskies barely held on to win thanks to several close plays late in the game (see below). They halted the Cardinal at the buzzer to prevail 27-23.
