I am selling my beloved Canon 600mm lens. This is the vII (second of three generations) lens that debuted in 2012. I purchased this lens new in the spring of 2016, so it’s about three-and-a-half years old.
This has been my workhorse lens the last three+ years, traveling to Yellowstone, Patagonia, Africa, Costa Rica, Brazil and elsewhere to help me photograph mammals and birds, as well as Husky Football back home (see sample photos below). It’s sharp, fast and—at eight-and-a-half pounds—can be hand-held by stronger photographers for short periods. This lens worked well with my Canon 1.4x vIII teleconverter.
I’ve just had the lens cleaned and the image stabilization system was fine-tuned by Canon Professional Services. It is in good shape, with some minor paint chips and scratches in a few places along the lens body and tripod foot. Overall, the paint is in pretty good shape thanks to the black LensCoat cover I’ve used. I am including this cover (which is a bit worn… one section is reinforced with tape) for free. The original case, straps and manuals are also included with the lens.

Mark, the lens is sold. I’m not sure where you could find another one, but eBay is always an option. Fred Miranda has an active photo gear marketplace as well.
